You basically wrote about my concerns, especially those shady and non legit looking weird marketplaces/websites.

I also am curious, why can't Amazon or eBay sell NFTs, and put a buy button of course.

Let's see what the future holds for NFTs but I feel like it is a hype that is going to be forgotten in the near future.
