I switched from After Effects to Blackmagic Fusion. I mainly use it for compositing works. I prefer it because it has a free version, if you buy it is cheaper and Fusion is node based. Nuke is also an option for artists like me but it is very expensive.

I might occasinaly return to CC for some other stuff but I struggle to keep the CC softwares as my main ones.
